Louise Booyens Interiors

Louise Booyens Interiors is an interior design studio specialising in residential projects in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. Louise has an instinctive ability to see the potential of a space and with a passion for colour, texture and materials she will create a timeless, bespoke and comfortable look.
She sees every client and home as completely unique and takes the time to really understand you and your lifestyle in order to provide a very personal service and design approach.
By working closely with you and using what you already have, she will help you create a home that works for you and your family. With a degree in Heritage Interior Design and a passion for historic interiors, she can also provide a contemporary, updated design for your period home while always respecting the building's history.
With beautiful features and interesting nooks and crannies, heritage properties are unique. It is very unusual to find a period house without any of the original details and sometimes it can be overwhelming trying to make decisions about what to keep, add or get rid of when working on a design scheme for your heritage home.
"I believe strongly that your period home shouldn't feel like a museum, but rather include a good blend of period features, re-interpreted old furniture, antique pieces, contemporary furniture and fittings... a tasteful mix of old and new."
After obtaining a law degree in South Africa, Louise moved to the UK where she completed a Diploma in Interior Design as well as a Diploma in Curtains and Soft Furnishings. She recently graduated with a FdA in Heritage Interior Design.
