TAKK HOME DAGAT BATH TOWEL
Designed by independent Icelandic label Takk Home, the Dagat Towel is made in Turkish cotton in blocs of navy, sky blue and white. Made in Turkey using traditional weaving methods with a handcrafted fringe made by local Turkish women.
Turkish towels, also known as Pesthemal or Hamam, have been used for centuries in Turkish baths. Famous for their absorbency and softness. They take up little space and dry quickly. Great for the bath, beach, sports and yoga, even a small blanket or scarf.
Dimensions: 100 x 180 cm / 40 x 70 in. Materials: 100% Turkish cotton.
Care: We recommend washing at 40°C with like colors. Tumble dry on low heat or line dry. Please note that using fabric softener can make the cotton less absorbent. We recommend washing the towel before first use, as it gets softer and more absorbent with every wash.
About the brand:
Founded by Olla and Dröfn, TAKK Home produces textiles for the home with a focus on simplicity, function, aesthetics and respect for the environment. Takk means thank you in Icelandic. "It is a powerful word, full of gratitude and is widely used in our daily lives. We have so much to be grateful for and our lives are full of takk moments. Our source of inspiration for TAKK Home is the power of Icelandic nature, where summers are short and winters are long, as well as traditional Scandinavian design. We are also under the influence of different cultures that we have come across in our travels around the world."
