The Ceramic Lab series of dinnerware, by Japanese brand Kinto, are made of sandstone unique to the Hasami region, which mixes sand and rocks with Amakusa porcelain stone. This creates the ceramic-like organic texture, whilst ensuring the durability of high quality porcelain. The iron in the sandstone also reacts with the glaze to create deep nuanced expressions.
