JONATHAN ADLER KYOTO TABLE LAMP
This sculptural table lamp, New York designer Jonathan Adler's "tree of light", is inspired by ingenious Japanese gardens featuring a twisted and tortured polished brass branch lashed onto a crutch with leather straps. The prototype for the branch sculpture started its journey in Adler's Soho studio before being cast in solid brass, which glows like gold when lit. Adler recommends positioning it on one side of a long console table, balanced with a bulky objet or plant.
The branch prototype started its journey in our Soho studio, where Jonathan and his team designed and hand-sculpted the original model in clay before casting in solid brass.
