"Nothing is too beautiful and nothing is too expensive."

That was the motto at this year's Elite London event. Falling on the first weekend of June at The Rizon Jet, Biggin Hill airfield, the event boasted the most luxurious private aviation, super cars and international lifestyle brands. More than just an event, it was about experiencing the craftsmanship and detailing of pure luxury, close up. There was something for everyone with guests indulging in an exciting range of experiences, from pleasure helicopter and exhilarating spitfire flights, to test driving the latest high octane sports cars and vintage classics.

Delighted to be invited to be a part of this glamorous VIP event representing luxury brands, we exhibited our internationally eclectic PAD interior styling, with a theme of tropical paradise. Featuring a number of our inspired designers who are no strangers to these cool vibes, we paired a colourful palm tree backdrop of wallpaper panels by Christian Lacroix, with bold furniture, a giant purple Lucite foot and the most glamorous polished nickel and lucite Sputnik chandelier, by our favourite New York designer Jonathan Adler.

From Amsterdam design house Pols Potten, we displayed an array of home wear, giving a flavour of the brand's 'tongue in cheek,' playful approach to design. This included porcelain and gold pineapples, a silver dipped cockatoo, a beautifully sculpted naked lady lamp, oversize floor lamps and bold glass wear. And from Sweden we showcased the tantalising pink 'Amour' and our 'Gin & Tonic' light boxes by innovative brand Bxxlght. Each product was eye-catching and evoked that exotic paradise feel that we all yearn for.

Adding to the theme, we lined the side walls of our space with award-winning UK designer Debbie McKeegan's digitally printed Lime Washed Boards wallpaper, evoking the feeling of relaxing in an island shack. Tropical warmth in the stunning Jonathan Adler Bond coffee table and side board in Burled Mappa wood, a hand-knotted Berber rug by Berlin brand The Knots, fabulously inviting velvet wing back Milano armchairs, also by Adler, and the most divine coffee table books by lifestyle publisher Assouline, transported our visitors to a luxury, relaxing hideaway.

We also love a bit of bling, and one highlight of the show was a first view of our collaborative jewellery collections with Scottish designers Patience Jewellery and Sarah Brown. Truly decadent and completely bespoke, inspired by beautiful precious stones and intricate detailing that definitely make these two designers 'one's to watch.'  Here is a peak of our display from Elite London, the star of the show being a white and yellow gold pineapple charm pendant, fully set with over 1ct of sparkling diamonds. More about our bespoke jewellery in another post very soon...
