STINNE GORELL BY HAND AND NATURE

Introducing Dutch designer Stinne Gorell, the creator of a luxury ladies clothing company with a passion for sustainability, the wellness of the world and all that lives within it. With a dedicated work ethic the brand works alongside fair-trade and charitable organisations to bring you this "conscious clothing" range.

Now available at PAD in Edinburgh and online, the Stinne Gorell knitwear collection features beautifully hand knitted wool scarves, bobble hats, gloves and elegant poncho's, made with high quality, super soft materials sourced with care and consideration. Created in a soft and warming colour palette that's easy to combine and co-ordinate, makes this outstanding wool collection truly irresistible, and perfect for seeing you through the Autumn and Winter.

Stinne engages with local communities across Denmark so that all locally produced wools are hand knitted in private homes all over the country. For cities slightly further afield, she has organised a "Wool Exchange" programme allowing people in these more remote areas to still be a part of this amazing, organically grown social network of makers.

Stinne explains: "My vision is to create products that are really special and that make a difference to communities too. Each touch and the individuality of the women that knit the pieces remains with them, leaving their own signature on the products."

All machine knitted products are made in Bolivia by a Danish owned FAIRTRADE certified company. We only use fur for tassels from free-range highland alpacas that died from natural causes.  The company also works alongside the Danish relief organisation "Buggenskole.dk" that employs a local labour force to build new schools in the rural districts of Guatelamala.

We love this brand at PAD. There is a real sense of warmth and love felt when wearing one of these products. It is clear how much time, energy and care Stinne Gorell has taken to create this timeless fashion label - where fashion meets sustainability; effortlessly.
